Went to my favourate LO trib today and it was hot with silver rockets,had a few on pink trout worms,small crank baits,and spinners,today no luck with the roe bags,
first one on a pinky

it was a great day for steelheading on the river.water was little off colour and pink and orange were the hot colours.went 6 for 8 in 3 hours.released 3,have enough roe now for the rest of the year and next trout opener not to mention some great tasting fillets :lol:

Use to think that East. Ont. had it all when it came to fishing.

But when I see those trout, think about moving..........lol

Great pics fisher! You guys are getting me re-energized for the bows. I've been trying to surpress the urge and focus on a few other species like walleye and muski, but I can't take it anymore!! Your awesome pic's have pushed me over the edge! I just took a jar of roe out to tie up, FF has given me a supply of pinkies, i have my favorite cleos layed out, and I'm out going to pick up a couple flies this afternoon and it'll be steelie time for me come next week!

Where is Shelter vally creek??this one is not too far from Port Hope.and is only open S of hwy2 now.private land.
