Christie Lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I think he's trying to tell you that any launches on the lake may be unaccessible due to ice.... :(

There is only one lauch that is accessible to the public and it is real shallow so odds are there is ice. If you do manage to get out there that whole bay is generally good for LM, Pike and Eye's. If you head west, follow the tracks to the other creek. Nice and deep and long. Try it. Lots of northerns and eyes.

Let us know how you make out

Chef, If you are planning on going from shore, get some minnows and fish the river under the bridge just near the launch, if you know were I am talking about. Last time I was there a lad was jigging for eye's and got a nice 30" there. Eitherway let us know how you do. White spinners work well there .
