wax worms

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

You can buy live wax worms in pet stores - they sell them as food
for lizards. They quite expensive though - 25c each.

I got mine from a pet store on Merivale Rd. I think I paid about $7.00 for 50. They also have Mealies (which work, but not as well as juicy waxies). A bit more pricey than in the States for sure. I plan to make a bulk order and pick up around 500 when I go home for Xmas!

waxies/mealworms

Super Pet usually carries them. I just picked some up from the one in Barrhaven. As mentioned above they are more expensive in the pet stores, but they usually carry wax worms, mealworms, silkworms and super worms ( large mealworms)-crickets too. Good luck.
