fishing today? where?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I know how U feel JH. I was out for a couple of hours tonight and didn't have a bite nor did anyone else I talked to. Ice in the bay by the marina is 15-18" now and is black/clear.
Will try my luck again tomorrow or thursday.

Went out today

Post by Spence Scout »

Me and my dad went out today we caught 3 pickeral, 2 smallies one that was well over 3lbs, 1 pike, many jumbo perch. Awesome evening no wind and no bitter cold weather. Once again the fin bore III was flawless. Missed a few good bites on my jigging spoons.

It was a desent night out on the hard ice. Goin sunday thats my next trip.

Goodluck guys

Got a good mess of wallies yesterday. Wanted to share this cause they were biting wierd. 3-4 little ticks then suddenly I would raise the jigging rap 4-5 feet and BAM. Didn't like seeing their candy disappearing.

Have also to back Spence's enthusiasm about the Fin Bore 3 augers. This time of year, this auger will rival any motor auger and won't spook fish and annoy anglers.
