Nation River Ice?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey JP,

I know Baz Fish has been out a few times during the Chrismas break and caught some eyes.

I have seen a bunch of folks out throught the Nation lately.

Be careful out there.

Where on the Nation do you go???

Post by cheftke »

Hello

I have done some fishing on the south nation during the summer but I would like to try during the winter. This is the first year that I have really got into ice fishing. What do I need to look for to see if the ice is safe??? I wasn't thinking of going out on it, but I have heard of people fishing on it.

The place that I was fishing during the summer was under the bidge on the 174. Are people fishing around there or near the where the ottawa meets it. Anyways I appreciate the help.
