Whirlpool Friday

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

NN
what kind of bait set up do you use for this area. was chatting with an older guy for a bit and he had said that there would be more bows in the whirlpool closer and into february, would this be true. have to say that the scenery was awesome. was drifting spawn sacks and he mentioned that the guy that caught 2 of the bows was using a artificial minnow. where is the glen located. i looked for signs but didnt notice any.

I guess you could say the Whrilpool is the part of the Glen ?. I think some people would say the Glen is down river from the Whrilpool ?

Just before you get to the Whrilpool golf course on the left side you'll see a gift shop / picnic area, park there . Walk towards the river you will see metal stairs going down into the Glen , Follow any of the paths , they will take you to the river.

What to use ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,good question I might not be the person to ask maybe try roe bags , single eggs or yarn, small pink worms 4in , small minows . I think one of the biggest things is to use light line and small hooks.Hope this helps :)
