Slushpuppy and I went out for a few hours today. Got 2 'eyes (12&13") and a Perch (9.5") Score: Bowzog 3 Slushpuppy 0. Finally, a win for the 'zog!! :D
I'm a goin' fishin', mama's goin' fishin' and my baby's goin fishin' too.

Hey! "The zog" got skunked on Saturday on Mississippi Lake! ........ but then, so did I. :(

Where abouts on Shirleys Bay were you on Sunday? The perch bite was pretty good, had about a dozen or so around 3PM, then the bite suddenly stopped after an hour. It sure got cold after the sun went down, brrrr.

Bowzog would be better able to tell you exactly where we were. We didn't get there until 4:30 or so. Had time to drill the holes and set up before dark. We drive a yellow pickup truck, so you can't miss us.

We went to check out Pinhey's Point, but didn't get down to the river. The hill to get down there was sheer ice. Sure, we'd make it down there, but I don't think we'd ever be able to come back up.
