deep cycle vs power pack

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

deep cycle vs power pack

Post by SeaBass »

Well getting ready for summer and its time to add a trolling motor to my boat. I plan on buying a transom mount and want to know what people think of using a power pack( nautilus) compared to a good deep cycle bat.

Hi Seabass,

I already bought my trolling motor for next season and was looking at buying a deep cycle battery soon. I didn't even consider using a power pack instead. I am interested to see the replies on this topic.

Use a good deep cylcle battery. It will handle more recharges and can handle the stress of banging in waves and water better than other batteries.
