Big goal for 2005?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

i only have one goal, to catch a real, true, weighed (not an internet five) Five Pound Bass....

Fished my whole life, and only managed a 4.5 pounder.

Of course, when i posted the pic, it turned into an Internet 6 pounder (gotta love that phenominon)...

Five pound bass just aren't that common.

you live in St Catherines?

Fish Jordan from shore in the spring. You'll get a brown or five.

I'd like to catch a 5lb 'bow out of one of the two lakes I fish. If I catch it out of loon lake, it'll be the biggest fish that's ever been caught out of there (every fish out of that lake is kept and recorded) and it'll beat my personal best of 4lbs. 8 oz.

Simply to get out more...Mind you, catching one of those humungous Brookies LT is holding wouldn't hurt my feelings :!: And of course, getting to at least 2 FH adventures. Spring and Fall...at least :!:

54" Muskie is my target this year. I'd also love to get in on a trip to Nipigon, this trip has been on my radar for 10+ years. Now that I've fished the Niagra Bar (thanks again Markus), Nipigon is my next big adventure. Trophy Lakers, Specs, walleye and pike.

My goal this coming year is not to neglect fun fishing for other species besides musky (which I have been guilty of lately). My girlfriend used to really enjoy fishing with me until I became a musky nut....now she would rather chop firewood or something..... Oh yeah, my other goal is to land an obese musky over 50"
