Attractors in carp bait would probably scare most of you... to the extent to which some people go to create an attractive bait. Not only does it need to be attractive but it needs to be so good that the fish will recognise it as a benificial food source. I've tried everything from flavours, extracts, sweetners, powdered enhancers, and even appitite stimulators.
Can you beleive some of the most successful scents i've used are pineapple, strawberry, bananna, cranberry, squid/octupus, salmon oil, bergamot essential oil

Here's an example of what one uk company offers in the flavour department !
- ML01 Ester Strawberry (100 ml)
ML03 Ester Cream (100 ml)
ML04 Pear of Bananas (100 ml)
ML05 Caramel Toffee (100 ml)
ML06 Squid/Octopus Koi Rearer (100 ml)
ML09 Esterblend 12 (100 ml)
ML10 Liquid Candy Sweetener (100 ml)
ML12 Stimulin Amino Compound (100 ml)
ML15 Ester Pineapple (100 ml)
ML16 Black & Blue (100 ml)
ML17 Crabmeat & Lobster (100 ml)
MLAC AC1 (Anchovy Concentrate) (100 g)
MLSS Fresh Smoked Salmon Mixmaster 100 ml
MLB12 Stimulin Amino Compound (500 ml)
I don't use scents excessivly on my plastic baits but i do use them when i feel i need that little extra something. Don't forget a dipped scent will tend to wash off fairly quickly compared to salt which tend to be impregnated into the bait.
