FHN as Urban Outdoor Adventures Guests

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Who would like to see Fishhawk & Bobber as guests on Urban Outdoor Adventures?

Absolutely - I'd tune in for sure

Why isn't one of your pole options
"Urban Outdoor Adventures - what the heck is that?"

In all seriousness, we are still a fairly new show (barely 5 weeks since the official show and website "Launch"), and it is nice to see this much interest so fast!

As for getting you guys on as guests?
- I think I might know someone... 8)

It is obviously too late for this season (shooting was completed 3 weeks ago), but maybe something can be worked out for next season...

An alternative idea. Either you or Fishhawk and one hawktalker selected randomly from all members who have bought a $20 ticket for the chance to participate. All proceeds to a favourite charity. If just half the membership threw down $20 for the chance, we'd raise $13,000. Nothing against either yourself or Fishhawk - just a way to raise money for some charity.

I agree with Tomcat, it would be a great idea to raise some money for charity. I would gladly pay $20 for a chance to be on a televised fishing show. I think the person should be able to choose who they want to fish with(Bobber or Fishhawk).
Thanks to my great supporters Deep River Outfitters, Shimano Canada and Hunters Bay Marine.

I also like the idea of a charity draw or something to that effect.
I have talked with our executive producers, and they agree that it would be a good idea to do this type of thing cross promoting Fish-Hawk.net for next season.

Meantime, I should mention there is going to be a similar contest run out of the fishing show this weekend.

Shaun Rickard (host of Urban Outdoor Adventures) will be at the Rapala booth from 12-2pm Saturday and Sunday promoting the TV show and website.
He and a few of the crew (I will likely be there as well) will be handing out cards with the web address essentially saying that if you register on the "Urban Outdoor Adventures" message board, you'll be entered to win a chance to be on the show next season (if you win but don't want to be on TV, Shaun will take you out for a prefishing trip)

Anyway - we like the idea of doing something "bigger" with Fish-Hawk members for next season, so let's keep thinking about that and see where it takes us

I think Tomcat has a terrific idea. A great idea for a great new show, and a charity gets all the benifits.

Don't imagine I could get lucky enough to get that show here with a gazillion other Yanks, but I'll bet FH and Bobber would push the ratings through the roof -- especially with the female fans.

I've only ever heard of people like you ET. I thought it was all fiction and folklore. You must be really smart with all that extra time you've got to read and stuff.    8)
