No Wolf, no MONSTER Rock Bass. I would have welcomed them though!
I was borrowing a friends Aquaview and saw one walleye. It was swimming slowly past, a few inches from my minnow, so I gave my line a little tiny twitch and you would have thought I set a firecracker off beside it. It took off like a flash! That was as exciting as it got for me.

Well, at least now you can have a laugh thinking how pee pee they'll be once a dozen or so people from this board start showing up at their secret spot.
So... did anybody confirm if the ice was ok at this spot? I haven't caught a walleye since september! I looks like it's going to be a nice weekend... probably going ice fishing but I want to go somewhere safe of course...
Urbanfisherman, Last Saturday there was 24 inches or more of ice. I have been there twice and personally have ZERO concerns about the safety of the ice THERE where the huts are that I described previously in the thread. PM me if you want any further reassurances.
I know of the spot. From what I have heard they have be catching their fair share of fish there. I also thought it was strange to see a couple of huts in that area. Kinda surprised me......
