Monday Weather in Southern Ontario - +7 w/ Rain (100%)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I keep looking out my office window about every 10 minutes. :P The snow banks are literaly disapearing! :P It's raining lightly, but the strong warm wind is just chewing away the snow! :D

South keep to the south

Hey it would be real nice if you South-Western Ontario lads keep your early spring angling from boats to the Great Lakes forum... it is depressing as old get out sitting here watching a frigging four foot snow pile get higher while reading about you Salmoniods launching for your spring action.

Just do me a big ole favor and keep it in the Great Lakes area until we can at least see open water in the Ottawa ok....

Many thanks

I missed the smilie icon, so I don't know if you were joking or not, but for future reference...we're from South Western Ontario!

I wasn`t foolin

It gets old real quick reading about all the spring outings you guys get out on while we sit here and shovel snow... so my request was valid... put em in the Great Lakes Section.... that way those who want to read em... can go there and the rest of us don`t have to think about how bad we have it up here while the ice is stuck in place for an extra six weeks a year.

Not too much to ask I don`t think.

Posting in the right areas

You know what Markus instead of taking a hardnose attitude towards this you could just step back a bit here and think....

"Were all the guys posting about ice fishing on the Great Lakes thread when we couldn`t get out on the ice...."

and then perhaps get a feel for where this request is coming from...

Just a thought

This is place to share pics and I for one am so excited for the upcoming spring. Everytime I see some pics form SW Ontario I just get more excited. So they have less snow and can get out...fantastic..lets see all the pics! It'll just make the day we get out that much better!! I may even take a ride down that way...something I would never have thought of two years ago before seeing pictures like are posted now.
I am not sure why it bothers ya :? Seaweed but bud we don't want the pics to stop!! It's a beautiful thing! :D

Seaweed. I'm not taking a hard nose attitude at all. You're asking us to stop posting our fishing experience on a board that's designed for sharing fishing experiences. You're being silly.

Sure we have a shorter ice season than you guys and us ice fishermen were really envious that you guys got good ice long before us. But thats geography.

The great lakes forum isn't designed to bottle up SW anglers. It's about the Great Lakes. The Fishing Talks forum is for everything fishing related...including the weather.

I have a very strong feeling you're in a very small minority here in regards to this silly request and I can assure you right this very moment that your request is being dismissed with zero consideration.

That being understood. I'd like you to find time in your schedule over the next few weeks and come down for a visit. I'll take you out for a fish on the water.
