A BIG thanks to all who made it out the shack... lotsa pics.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A BIG thanks to all who made it out the shack... lotsa pics.

Post by bucketmouth »

After reading the other ice hut removal threads I just thought I would add one myself. I'd like to thank all the folks who came out to the ram.SHACK.le this ice season.

We caught many fishies, told alot of stories, drank a few of pops (I have a 2-4 with your name of it Float!), planned a few future outings, and I got to meet quite a few nice folks from FH. It might have only been a 4X8 shack but it pumped out enough heat to warm even the coldest of souls. I only wish I had taken a picture of the 7 of us huddled in it during that dreadfully cold derby day in February!

Some pics from this year:

So HOF, Nighttroller, Float, Roxy, Ransome, Linds, Tony, Bacon, Oakborne, Zory, and many others - THANKS for the fun times. A special thank you to Floatfishin for braving the elements that fateful friday to help be build the ram.SHACK.le in the first place. I promise next time I ask you to help build anything we'll use tools other than a 3lb sledgehammer and a brush saw.

I ripped the shack down today and stuffed all the lumber in the Pork Belly Lodge in anticipation of the 12'X12' ice chalet a few of us are thinking of building next year. That's going to be a blast!

Can't wait til next ice season... but I can settle for 9 months of open water too :D

Bucket thanks for making my first ice fishing season a memorable one! Your a great guy and some fun was sure had!

Watch out for the theif who steal your fish at dons shack though, and for that mater anywhere he goes! "Be on the lookout for a theif who never wears anything other than jeans while ice fishing, he has been known to steal walleye and big perch! "

Cant wait to take you out in the summer so we can swap spots on the bay!

I said the same thing, but thats ice fishing. When you hook that big walleye on your ultra-lite it changes the whole perspective on fishing out of a hole.I have not iced the biggest fish this year but i still have faith!!
