FISHING WITH MARKUS

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Markus seems like a great guy and obviously a great fisherman.

I had the opportunity to be invited but was unable to join him. I would have loved the opportunity to join.

Hopefully I'll get an invite again and have that chance to fish with him.

Great board member and provides lots of information and feeback.

Fishing with Markus is such a pleasure! Absolutely great guy who knows his stuff, his great wife PL who is more than hospitable! What other women is gonna cook 2 guys and one girl fish at like 12pm at night after coming home and stinking of fish!

Markus and PL, Lindsay and I had an absolute blast coming up with you, even only for the day! I am so excited to come up to the long point FH trip then get to fish with you after that! Gonna be the best trip of the year!

Thanks for getting me my biggest Walleye, Salmon and Bow all in one trip. And I cant thank you enough for putting Lindsay on to some great fish!

Im counting down the days until I get to fish with you again!

Markus is full of good humour and I aint talking ice cream
good times and tight lines with him.
I have had a couple chances to fish with him and spend a week trying to win 50 grand - Its really too bad he could not lite it up on the first competition. But why bring up old news, eh markus!

I am glad he introduced me to this site - I am really happy I am not the only one with a shimano combo surgically implated to the end of my arm!
Looking forward to more journeys with everyone here!

You guys are too much.

The enjoyment for me comes in a few ways.

1. I get to watch people, who have helped and shared fishing info with me, catch a few fish that may not be readily available to them in their neck of the province.

2. I get to trade trips out. You come here...I go there. Sharing boats and trips has opened up so many great fishing oppurtunities for me.

3. Best of all. I get to meet so many new people and in all cases, build new friendships and memories that'll last a lifetime.

Here's a few pics of some of the hawk talkers that have visited me or shared a day with me in SW Ontario in the past year or so. All great folks!

I remember everyone of these days like it was yesterday and I'm looking forward to adding a lot more new memories during the up coming season! We're gonna have some fun!

You know Mark if I come down to fish with you, you might just never get rid of me with that kind of hospitality and all the different fishies you've got swimming down that way.

I got invited to the bar one time from the man, I had to turn him down. Boy was I stoooopid. Wish'd my commute wasn't quite so far.

Just make sure you keep him away from your chairs or your sausage supply :D :D :D He can do serious damage.

Markus It was great meeting you and hope we can hook up again :D .Maybe at the Long Point Camping adventure weekend.

On a negative note, I blame Markus for getting me hooked on Great lakes salmon and trout fishing last spring, and now my wallet always seems lighter, as I keep buying spoons and lyman plugs, with no use for them up here!!!!

Markus has been great to get to know, from our first fishing trip last Good Friday, where we were just happy to get back to land (no fish actually caught!!!) to catching my first lake salmon.

Thanks Markus, I hope to get out with you and the other SW Ontario guys you've introduced me to again soon!!! Salmon fishing here I come!!!!
