Except for a time or two over the winter, we tend to stop fishing in late October, when the cold settles in.
If I had Gord and Slushy's digs, I might be inclined to ice fish more. That's the way to go, for sure, and they were nice enough to give the "Wolfe Pack" a taste of what ice fishing in comfort can be like.
As for the being dead part...I cannot fathom a Heaven without boats, lakes and fish. In my mind's eye, I actually picture Heaven as a big lake in the middle of natural paradise! (I'd like to think we use barbless hooks there, and still catch fish.
