New Feature Added to Registration
I think this is going in the right direction.
The MCI board is real names and yo umust register to read or post
I think thats the onl way to 100% get rid of the unwanted post or people but I'm not knocking waht bobber has done
It's a great start and a great idea and I truley beleive will pay off in the long run.
Good Job

Beeman,
We'll do what we can, and will probably be difficult, which is why I have not done this earlier. The feature at this time is more for those who wish to include their real names.
Now having said that, I've seen the majority of users not mind putting their names, and I do appreciate that....actually like to see it instead of just nicknames, but I have also received notes from some who don't like. it.
Fair enough, I can see why some would not want to publish their full names on the Internet, which is why I only ask for First names for new registrations, and for existing registrations, if you don't want to update it, no worries, just continue as you are today. It's more of a feature I suppose than an enforcement thing.

I agree guys, this is why I have not done this before now, however seems many like the idea of having the Option of putting in their names. Personally, I like to be able to associate names to nicknames, but that's just my preference I suppose.
You may be right on the next troll, putting in improper names, and if that happens, then we'll revist the names thing, but let's give it a try and see what happens shall we. Who knows, seems to work for some reason on other boards according to notes I've received. I'm always open to give new things a try. So far so good....knock on wood.
cheers,
