Action shot

After putting some bait on my jig i was about to put it down the hole when i noticed my tip up line which was set up some 20' away from me. I looked down the hole and saw this.

I watched him for a couple of minutes until he ran again but when i went to set the hook the bait came right out. The perch i was using was 7" long. If you look at the top of the pic you can see part of another pike that was interested in what this guy had.

I didn't know that you could use perch as bait in the St.Lawrence. That's a good picture.

The camera i have is a 5 yr. old 3 mega pixel centrios. The water here on the St. Lawrence is gin clear thanks to the zebra mussels. It was 8' deep in that particular spot. You can clearly see to depths of 30+ feet, which makes for some great sight fishing!

Thanks, I was thinking it was an underwater camera to get a clear picture like that.

Hey cool picture man! You gave the seceret bait away for pike on the river don't give our location away dude!

Your crappie PB pictures was awesome to another reason to keep that spot quite! Anyways you'll know when you get to work that I've taken the night off for some nice night time crappiing.
