We were out last weekend and nailed a few walleye just past the mouth of Buckhams on the west side. The water drops off deeper there (can't say for sure how deep, my finder is still in SK) - I'm guessing down about 25ft.
Haven't been back since the weekend - too busy getting everything done so I can have the weekends to fish. Let me know if you do head out, that would give me an excuse to get out fishing.

Saskie, once I had the chance to figure out the lake's contour & structure a little thanks to my fishing map, I found the small opening in the dam.
The shallow, weedy bay on the other side provided constant action for pike (we caught 20-40 fish a day for a week), but they were mostly small to average sized fish. We landed a few bigger pike just off the dam on the big side of the lake, where the water dropped off to about 12-15 feet (about a hundred yards or so out from the dam...maybe a little more). Just writing about it makes me want to be out there now, instead of stuck behind a computer.......but the long wait is growing shorter and shorter
