planning a musky trip ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

we will be coming from the georgeian bay area, so I was looking at stopping anywhere really. pembroke to amprior looks like it might have camping open. If you had a choice , with rv and 18ft allium boat what would be the best area for musky and camping.

I don't know of any campsites on this stretch of the river I'm on other than Fitzroy Provincial Park, but I believe that the park is closed for the season.....Maybe Relic can help you out further up river where he's located...

Hmm...well I don't know if I necessarily agree with this statement. I mean really if you think about it, there are always going to be experienced fisherman who can just read water and with the technology around these days will be able to find fish in no time. I don't know if the Bay is a huge secret anyways to be quite honest, and to further that point, I don't even know if tight lips on here will really have an effect on it.

I guess I'm of a different breed. If I know of a good spot, I don't mind shelling out that information, because the favor is usually returned anyways.

Just my opinion I guess.

"shelling out" information of a good spot on a lake to a close friend is 1000000000% different than BROADCASTING it out over the internet with thousands of lurkers looking for lakes to harvest the fish out of them!......think  about it!!
