Kinda curious...Georgian Bay is an awesome Muskie fisheryline guy wrote:we will be coming from the georgeian bay area, so I was looking at stopping anywhere really. pembroke to amprior looks like it might have camping open. If you had a choice , with rv and 18ft allium boat what would be the best area for musky and camping.

Hmm...well I don't know if I necessarily agree with this statement. I mean really if you think about it, there are always going to be experienced fisherman who can just read water and with the technology around these days will be able to find fish in no time. I don't know if the Bay is a huge secret anyways to be quite honest, and to further that point, I don't even know if tight lips on here will really have an effect on it.almontefisher wrote:Because after all those "MONSTER" reports the population of fishermen has increased...I have learned that tight lips are a good thing every now and then huh Steve
I guess I'm of a different breed. If I know of a good spot, I don't mind shelling out that information, because the favor is usually returned anyways.
Just my opinion I guess.

"shelling out" information of a good spot on a lake to a close friend is 1000000000% different than BROADCASTING it out over the internet with thousands of lurkers looking for lakes to harvest the fish out of them!......thinkHereMyGo wrote:If I know of a good spot, I don't mind shelling out that information, because the favor is usually returned anyways.almontefisher wrote:Because after all those "MONSTER" reports the population of fishermen has increased...I have learned that tight lips are a good thing every now and then huh Steve

Yeah , just take McLaurin Bay for instance ,, there is people coming from
all around the world to fish that Bay because of certian F-Hawkers putting
daily reports about how good the fishing is there
