I use it to make leaders for slow death hooks. They worked really, really well last year. The red goes near invisible in water and it was a great choice to use when bottom bouncing I found. The flouro is tougher than mono so less likely to break from bottom abbrasions.
FYI the Special Offer is a 1/2 decent backup spinning reel for only $8 shipping/handling, and IS available in Canada. Now that I know it's available at Pathfinder Maps, I might get some just to get the spare reel. And to think I was JUST driving by there earlier today. Will have to stop in next week when I'm in the area.
Anyone try their braid? Does the red dye/ink get all over your thumb (baitcaser reel)?
It's really popular in California and works well there. I have used it a few times here and it was ok. I agree with the comment that the knot strength is not the greatest. But then again I like using really light test. Big fan of Yo-Zuri Hybrid line.
