In the case of Mc Laurin Bay I live 3 km away... so for me it is the body
of water I fish most.....I started fishing the bay in 1988! It is still the best practice range I can find!
That said it is fare to say that I know it well.
The information I can provide about a place and time at Mc laurin Bay
changes all the time all year around. There is no mystery about a windlass
tip up that jiggs itself in the wind but they have proven to be more successfull than any other winter fishing rod because I did my homework
to see what was working most and what was the best. Don't put snow in the hole it won't jigg the bait...walk around and clean your holes!
As for bait well medium minnow alive if possible...but if dead the tip up will jigg it.
You need a fish finder it's a must. or gps to find location
As for the location on the bay where things appen...well that changes also
and if you come to Mc laurin Bay one day and see me on the water it would be a good decision to follow me around
